Confessions Of A Curvy Girl: Keep On Moving

Confessions Of A Curvy Girl Do you like to exercise and stay active? Do you like to do this with your spouse or significant other?

Many couples and close friends hike, jog and take exercise classes together. Time well spent on many levels for sure.

If you know someone who, like many Americans, spends up to 3 hours or more a week exercising, the gift of activewear is a slam dunk.

Once upon a time I went to the gym 5 days a week. I rushed over there after work with my gym bag in hand and threw on a workout outfit that I kept in the bag. Chances are most days my ensemble didn’t match at best and may or may not have had bleach stains on it at worst. I thought because I had curves like a California canyon highway I couldn’t find clothes that fit me the way I wanted them to.

I started going to a spin class with my husband. He watched me fidget and look uneasy every single class. Why? I was insecure in what I was wearing. Eventually I stopped going to this class with him and stuck to working out in the early AM hours before the gym got crowded.

For me, my husband hit the internet hard and bought several great options for my workout attire. I was overwhelmed. Not only did I now look great on that elliptical but I was confident. That confidence was sexy.

This was one of the best gifts I have ever received. It wasn’t an over-the-top gift laced with candy and flowers. It was the gift of health, happiness and a confident outlook. All in a box of sports bras, active tanks and supportive capris.

Have you seen the line of active apparel on HerRoom? Here is one of my favorites.
