Sometimes you need a high level of support while at the same time a bit of sexy sass. And who says you can’t have it both ways? Is there some kind of handbook on this subject I missed?
Finding lingerie that fits and also doesn’t break the bank is a struggle for women who cannot just shop off the rack at the mall. Chances are you will find that what is cheap is not going to last or wear well. For me, the investment is worth it.
Two years ago I got caught in the trap of wearing whatever I could find that restrained my breasts “just enough”. Bras that fit “good enough,” looked “good enough” and were priced well below quality. However a few weeks into their wear I started having pain in my breast tissue, knots forming and a constant red mark under my arms.
I went to the doctor for my annual exam and lo and behold she clicked her tongue, harshly berated me and questioned my common sense. Why you ask? Because it was blatantly obvious that I was wearing a bra that didn’t fit. And look what it did to me!
I do not have that problem now. Sure, I was avoiding the whole measuring process offered in any lingerie counter in any number of stores. What I was doing was like self-medicating. I was just guessing and checking. My take away? Misfitted bras give you knots, do not give you the support you need and give you red marks. Lets open the dialog about finding what fits!
