Confessions Of A Curvy Girl: In The Jungle, The Mighty Jungle

Confessions Of A Curvy Girl
I am just going to dive right into this one. Why in the world do designers and companies think that women over the size of 10 are dying to don a jungle print bra? Is Hello Kitty too slinky sex kitten for girls with big boobs?

I am asking this because I just spent a good twenty minutes online counting how many brands make way too many bras in animal print for plus-sized ladies. I lump zebra stripes and the like in with horizontal stripes. Just don’t. So why are there so many selections in these fabrics?

I may be looking for a problem where there is not one, but I just find it odd that animal print is considered sexy, alluring and clearly for the well-endowed. Can I tell you how ridiculous I would look in that print? The reaction my husband would have to seeing me in something like that would be priceless. I am almost tempted to buy a matching set just to see his reaction. Pair that with a portable stripper pole and the look will be complete. Too much? I digress…

What I am trying to get at here is that companies need at least one person on their marketing team that represents the size they are trying to sell. A lingerie company that sells to almost every size needs a skinny minny, a normal woman and someone like me—a curvy girl with little to no filter. Talk about fair and balanced.

Look for styles that make you feel great and look smokin’ hot all without making you want to roar like a lioness at HerRoom.com.
