Confessions Of A Curvy Girl: To Be Seen Or Not To Be Seen?

Confessions Of A Curvy Girl
Why is this so hard to understand, people? No one, for any reason, wants to see exposed bra straps out in public, not in private either. Nowhere for that matter. I mean—why? Why do women still wear shirts that purposely expose their straps?

I was recently at an event that was heavily attended by high school-aged kids. It was a strapsapalooza! It was a skinny tank, tube top, off the shoulder nightmare of brightly colored straps. Just out there in all their glory. What is wrong with this world we live in? (Insert “get off my lawn!” here).

But seriously, why are straps reemerging as a fashion accessory? I can honestly tell you other parents hate it as much as I do. There are bras for that. Ones with clear straps or, gasp, strapless!

But wait? It’s not just young girls doing it. It’s their moms, our friends and maybe even—US! Count me out of that group, but you get the point here. Plan your lingerie with your outfit. You don’t have a racerback or convertible bra to wear under that tank top? Then don’t wear it. Planning a night on the town in your new halter dress and you don’t have a strapless? Leave it on the hanger. Do us all a favor. Heck, do yourself a favor!

Fix this problem. Get this super convertible bra from HerRoom.com
