Here is a little bra anatomy 101. Know that center part of your bra band in the front? That’s called the gore. This little piece is quite important. While not all bras have the same size or type of gore, others might not have it at all. It is very common in underwire styles.
The gore specifically is the center part of your bra band that lies between the cups. It should lie flat against your chest between your breasts even as you move, jump around, bend over, or even lift your arms up over your head. If the gore doesn’t rest flat against your chest, the cups may be too small or the band too big.
