Tankini or One-Piece: Get the Scoop on the Right Choice for You

As summer approaches, it’s time for the (often dreaded) act of buying a swimsuit. But swimsuit shopping doesn’t have to be painful, as long as you know what kind of suit works best with your body. When it comes to deciding between a one-piece suit or a tankini, there are a few considerations. Often times, one-pieces are designed for women between 5’4 and 5’8 and a B to D cup. The design also assumes women are evenly proportioned at the top and bottom, so it would be hard to fit a short-waist, long torso, or extra tummy. Sometimes, a one-piece with a specific bra size can fit women with cup sizes over a D, but this assumes she is of average height, weight and proportion.
